Superior High Resolution Performance

The superior linearity performance of the Sonic2™ is thanks to its unique Sonic Scrambling™ technology. Below is a comparison between a typical high performance CD/SACD/DVD-Audio player and a Sonic2 enabled player. To the right it is shown clearly that in a standard player as the digital input signal decreases (music volume decreased) the analog output deviates significantly from the corresponding input limiting significantly the potential of SACD and DVD-Audio sources to that of standard CD players. To the left is the same system with Sonic2 technology, here we see that the linearity performance is nearly perfect right down to the dynamic range limits of DVD-Audio (-140dB) unlocking the full potential of high resolution audio sources.
