VTM™ Class D Modulation
Class D or digital amplifiers use a modulation scheme to amplify an audio signal. Typically standard PWM modulation is deployed, although well understood, it has substantial drawbacks when audiophile quality has to be delivered. Anagram has developed a proprietary modulation scheme based on a spread spectrum modulation scheme which significantly improves digital based power amplifiers compared to PWM based solutions.
Anagram's VTM™ Modulation technology not only reduces EMI through spread spectrum techniques, it also integrates directly with power supply rejection monitoring to lower the enormous demands applied on the power supply by MOSFET based digital amplifiers. The end result is extraordinary sound fidelity with lowered overall system costs.
